Care for Jackie’s Memorial

Members of the “A” Garden Club of Big Bear Valley’s Civic Beautification Team tidied the flowers and keepsakes at Fawn Park in memory of Jackie, the beloved bald eagle watched by people around the world. Believed to be the first eaglet hatched in Big Bear Valley, Jackie sadly passed away on August 10, 2026. Our civic beautification team prepared the tribute area ahead of the September 26, 2026 unveiling of a wooden carving of Jackie and the park’s planned renaming. We will forever love you Jackie! <3
