2026 Scholarships Awarded

“A” Garden Club awarded three Carole Hassler Scholarships to 2026 Big Bear High School graduates on June 6th. All of this year’s applicants plan to major in environmental studies and received between $1,000 to $2,000 to help them with their educational pursuits.

The recipients are Leona DeGiselles, who plans to study marine biology; Scott Leslie Allen, Jr., who has been accepted into Grand Canyon University with plans to study fire science and sports marketing; and Wade Aiden Addington, who will be studying landscape artchitecture at Washington State University.

All of our applicants are well-rounded individuals who have received additional scholarships from other organizations.
