Civic Beautification

Improvement projects undertaken at the direction of the Civic Beautification chairperson. Past projects have included planting daffodil bulbs at the Big Bear Elks Lodge site, a meditation garden at PTL Plus, and a native garden at the Big Bear Historical Museum. In 2021, a bench and pavers were installed at the Historic Chapel at Community Church.

June 2026: We donated 12 berry bushes to the Community Gardens Food Bank. Next year we hope to have a nice crop of berries. Carol and Rob moved two Adopt-A-Boxes to the Community Gardens entrance and Carol planted both with flowers. We now have 20 Adopt-A-Boxes planted!

The flower barrels at Senior Center, Big Bear Hospice, and Alpine Zoo are planted.

The flowers are planted at the Big Bear Memorial Park and are doing well!
